Depart from Nairobi at 8:00am with an experienced tour guide and head to Nanyuki town for lunch, which will take approximately four hours. After lunch, continue to Sirimon Gate, a one-hour drive away, reaching an altitude of 2,440m (8,000ft). From the gate, follow the trail as it winds uphill through the forest, which transitions into heathland after about three hours. Approximately four hours after leaving the gate, the trail veers right toward Judmier Camp, located at 3,300m (10,800ft), where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Sirimon-Judmier Camp to Shipton Camp
After breakfast, we take the track uphill, veering left at the junction. After an hour of walking from Old Moses Camp, the path crosses the Ontulili River. We then turn right, contouring through the moorland and crossing Liki North before continuing uphill to Mackinder's Valley. Here, we will enjoy panoramic views of the main peaks up the valley. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Shipton Camp, located at 4,200m (13,800ft).

Lenana and Return to Nairobi
Leave at 3:00am for a steep, stony ascent through a quarry that cuts into a cliff. The clear pathway leads towards Lower Hall Tarns, and you should arrive at Point Lenana by 6:30am, taking approximately three hours. After watching the sunrise, begin your descent to Shipton Camp, which will take about two hours, where you can enjoy breakfast. From Shipton Camp, continue your descent for another four hours to Old Moses Camp for lunch. You will connect by road to Nairobi from Old Moses Camp.
