Drive to Murchison Falls National Park

Begin your adventure with a scenic drive from Entebbe or Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park, enjoying picturesque views of Uganda’s countryside along the way. After approximately 4-5 hours, you will have stopover in Masindi for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

Upon entering the park, embark on an exhilarating afternoon game drive, where you’ll have the chance to spot wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, and buffaloes and many others in their natural habitat. After the game drive, check into Red Chili Rest Camp in the evening, where you can unwind and prepare for a delightful dinner.

Start your day with an early breakfast before heading out for a thrilling morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. As the sun rises, you'll have the chance to spot a variety of wildlife, hunting for prey/food including lions, elephants, and a diverse array of bird species.

After a rewarding morning, you will return to Red Chili Rest Camp for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat cruise on the Nile River, taking you to the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls. Marvel at the stunning views and keep an eye out for hippos, crocodiles, and various birds along the shores. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and share the day's adventures.

On the final day of your safari, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at Red Chili Rest Camp before checking out. Then, embark on a scenic drive to the top of Murchison Falls. Here, you'll witness the Nile River dramatically plunge over the escarpment, creating breathtaking views and a thunderous roar.

Take time to explore the area, capturing stunning photographs of this natural wonder. After your visit, begin your journey back to Entebbe or Kampala, stopping for lunch en route. You should be able to arrive in Entebbe/Kampala in the early evening where you will then reflect on your incredible wildlife experiences as your Murchison Falls safari comes to an end.
