Day 1

We'll pick you up in Arusha and drive to the Kilimanjaro National Park entrance, a 1-hour journey to Marangu Gate. As you hike through the tropical rainforest, keep an eye out for black-and-white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and various bird species. Our expert guide from Marhaba Escape Safaris will provide insights into Kilimanjaro's unique ecosystem. You'll also have a chance to chat with climbers returning from the summit, fueling your own dreams of conquering the peak.

After a 3 to 4-hour trek, you'll reach Mandara Hut (2,700m) for a well-deserved break and lunch. A short 15-minute hike to Maundi Crater follows, offering stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
