Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, our friendly representative will be waiting for you outside the customs and Immigration hall to give you a warm welcome. Depending on your time of arrival, you woll eitherdo a Kigali city tour or be transferred to Musanze and dropped off at your hotel. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel.

Gorilla Tracking in Volcanoes NP & Rwandan Cultural Experience

In the early morning, you will be escorted to the park reception. Upon arrival, you will complete the registration process before receiving a thorough briefing and being placed in your trekking group. After all necessary park formalities, you will then be transported to the starting point where you will begin your lifetime adventure of trekking the mountain gorillas.

As you embark on your trek, your guide will lead you through the lush forest in search of these incredible creatures. Once the gorillas are found, you will have the unique opportunity to spend an hour observing them in their natural habitat. You can watch as they play, interact, and feed, and capture the moment with photos and videos.

Following the trek, you will return to the lodge for a relaxing lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit the Ibyiwacu Cultural Village for a unique community tour. Here, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich heritage and traditions of the local Rwandan people.

Golden Monkey Tracking & Batwa Cultural Experience

At the crack of dawn, your adventure begins as you set off for Mgahinga National Park in Uganda's Kisoro district. After a scenic 40-minute journey and border procedures, you will arrive at the Mgahinga NP offices for a comprehensive briefing before embarking on your exciting golden monkey trek.

These captivating and rare creatures have grown comfortable with human interactions, providing you with the opportunity for intimate encounters and stunning observations. After the trek, you will retreat back to the lodge for a scrumptious lunch, giving you the chance to relax and recharge.

In the afternoon, your exploration continues as you pay a visit to the Batwa community in Kisoro district, where you can learn about the rich cultural heritage and traditions of this marginalized group of people. The Batwa are an indigenous community of forest-dwelling hunter-gatherers who have been largely displaced from their ancestral lands due to conservation efforts and deforestation.
