2 travelers on Start dateArusha to Lake Manyara
After breakfast, you will check out and drive to Lake Manyara National Park with a packed lunch for a full-day game drive. Lake Manyara National Park is a small but diverse park 120km west of Arusha. Everything you’ll see here is on a different scale. It is both compact (this is one of the narrowest parks in Africa) and epic (the Great Rift escarpment towers over Lake Manyara’s western boundary).
The park has a shallow salt lake. It covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons, and is home to thousands of wading birds, including flamingos and over 500 other bird species. You may see baboons and elephants in the park’s thick evergreen forest and watch for the tree-climbing lions that have become famous throughout Africa. You will have a picnic lunch in the park, and later, you will drive to Karatu town for dinner and overnight.

Karatu, Tarangire National Park and Arusha
You will check out after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. The park is particularly known for the abundance of ancient baobab trees (the largest trees in the continent), which fill the landscape and dwarf the animals next to them.
The park is full of wildlife, ranging from a large variety of birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and, of course, elephants. It is also known as the "elephant paradise". The park has the largest concentration of elephants in the country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. Then, later, drive to Arusha for drop-off.
