Antananarivo - Andasibe National Park

Today, after your breakfast, we are going to Andasibe, east of Antananarivo. On the road, you will visit the Peyreiras Reserve, a reptile park where you will see different types of chameleons, frogs, crocodiles, geckos, butterflies, and lemurs. You will continue to Andasibe after the visit. When you arrive, we will check you into your hotels and be ready for a nighttime tour to see the lemurs, frogs, and chameleons active at night.

Visit of Analamazaotra National Park

Today, you'll enjoy a full day of visit to Analamazaotra National Park. The real draw of this reserve is the rare indri, Madagascar’s largest lemur, whose unforgettable wail can be heard emanating from the misty forest throughout the day, most commonly in the early morning. In addition to the indris, you may also see woolly lemurs, grey bamboo lemurs, red-fronted lemurs, black-and-white ruffed lemurs, and diademed sifakas (one of the largest lemur species). In 2005 the Goodman’s mouse lemur was discovered here and identified as a distinct species. Eleven species of tenrec, the immense and colorful Parson’s chameleon, and seven other chameleon species are also found here. Over 100 bird species have been identified in the park, together with 20 species of amphibian. The park is also home to the endemic palm tree Ravenea louvelii, found nowhere else on the island. In the afternoon, you are going to visit the Vakona reserve where you will see other lemurs and other animals as well.

Today, we will drive you to Mantadia National Park. You will enjoy a full day of visit to this primary forest, admiring many species of animals and plants. You will also see waterfalls in this amazing place. After the visit, we will drive you to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Andasibe - Palmarium Reserve

Today, you will continue your journey toward the Palmarium Reserve on National Road 2. When you arrive in Manambato, you will take a boat to travel on the Pangalanes Canal to the reserve. Tonight you are going to see the famous AYE AYE from Madagascar.

Palmarium Reserve - Mahambo

After your breakfast, you're going to sail on the Pangalanes channel to reach Toamasina, the second largest city of Madagascar, and the city where you will have lunch this day. On the way, you are going enjoy seeing the forest around you and fish traps and villages of the Betsimisaraka community.

After breakfast, you're going to board a boat sailing on to Sainte-Marie. The duration of your trip on the sea would be around 4 hours. After a late arrival in Sainte-Marie this afternoon, you can decide to explore the town of Sainte-Marie or simply relax in your hotel.
