Arusha to Lake Manyara Park

Arusha to Lake Manyara Park

You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Arusha at 9:00 AM and depart for Lake Manyara National Park, where you’ll enjoy a full day of game driving with a picnic lunch. As you enter the park, the lush forests of Acacia and Mahogany trees set the stage for the adventure ahead. The game drive will continue until evening, with a break for your picnic lunch. Keep an eye out for buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons, and blue monkeys. One of the park’s highlights is the elusive tree-climbing lions, though spotting them can be a bit of luck. In the right season, the shoreline may even turn pink with millions of flamingos. After your day of exploration, you’ll return to your camp or lodge for a delicious dinner.

Lake Manyara to Central Serengeti

After breakfast, we set off for Serengeti National Park, passing through the picturesque highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As we leave the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa—Serengeti National Park—where endless plains stretch out as far as the eye can see. We’ll head to the central park area, known as the Seronera region, which is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. The Seronera River runs through this area, providing a vital water source that attracts a diverse array of wildlife representative of the Serengeti's many species. We’ll arrive in time for lunch and then embark on an afternoon game drive in the stunning Serengeti National Park.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour to Marera Valley Lodge

After an early breakfast, you’ll set off on your journey from the Serengeti back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, leaving the beautiful Seronera Valley behind. Since predators are most active during the cooler hours of the day, you might catch a glimpse of them in action. Lunch will be enjoyed en route at a designated picnic spot.

Upon reaching the crater’s edge, you’ll be greeted by the breathtaking view of the 19 km diameter caldera, which opens up in all its stunning glory. You’ll then descend into the crater via an adventurous trail. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to over 25,000 animals throughout the year, including a diverse range of birds, hyenas, and the “Big Five”—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. After exploring the crater, you’ll exit via a different ascent road and continue your drive to Karatu in the Ngorongoro highlands.
