Drawn by the lush grasses of the plains during the rainy season, this area becomes a safe haven for calving due to clear predator visibility. However, as the plains dry, the herds push onward toward greener pastures, even venturing into the nutrient-scarce yet rain-rich northern reaches.

Our expert guides will select the best locations for spotting large lion prides, herds of wildebeest, zebras, and hippos gathered in pools. Travel across expansive plains and explore the iconic kopjes, ancient volcanic formations that serve as shelters for diverse wildlife and offer stunning views of the Serengeti. After the game drive, continue to Farm of Dreams Lodge in Karatu.

After breakfast, your driver guide will be ready to take you on an unforgettable safari in the Ngorongoro Crater, a haven for diverse wildlife. Home to the Big Five—lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and Cape buffalo—it also shelters wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, hyenas, jackals, hippos, and antelopes. The crater boasts the world’s densest lion population and offers a rare chance to spot the elusive black rhino. Interestingly, giraffes are absent here due to the steep crater walls forming a natural barrier. After the game drive, you'll be transferred to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
