Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, you'll depart from Tarangire and journey towards the legendary Serengeti National Park, passing through scenic landscapes and Maasai villages along the way. Upon arrival in Serengeti, you'll enjoy a game drive across the vast plains, famous for hosting the great migration, and an abundance of wildlife including lions, cheetahs, wildebeest, zebras, and more. The Serengeti offers endless photo opportunities with its dramatic landscapes and wildlife interactions. After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, you'll head to your lodge or campsite for dinner and an overnight stay in the heart of the Serengeti.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands
You will start your day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park when the wildlife is most active. You might catch predators on the hunt, witness the great migration if timed right, or spot animals like elephants, giraffes, and hyenas roaming the plains. After the morning drive, you'll enjoy breakfast and then continue your journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
On the way, you'll have more opportunities for wildlife viewing and might stop at the Olduvai Gorge, a significant archaeological site, known as the "Cradle of Mankind." Once you arrive in the Ngorongoro area, you'll check into your lodge or campsite located near the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. You'll enjoy dinner and relax while preparing for the exciting crater exploration the following day.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
On the final safari day, you'll descend into the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest inactive volcanic caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater’s enclosed ecosystem offers an exceptional wildlife experience, with a chance to see the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino) as well as hippos, zebras, flamingos, and a variety of bird species.
After a half-day of exploring the crater floor and enjoying a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, you'll ascend the crater walls and begin your journey back to Arusha. You'll arrive in the evening and settle into your hotel, ready for the next day’s Mount Kilimanjaro hiking adventure.

Arusha to Mount Kilimanjaro
Your day begins with an early morning pick-up from Arusha as you head towards Mount Kilimanjaro National Park for an exhilarating one-day hike. You'll start at the Marangu Gate (1,860 meters/6,100 feet), where you'll register and meet your mountain guide. The hike follows the Marangu Route, often called the "Coca-Cola" route, which is the most accessible path on Kilimanjaro.
As you ascend through lush rainforests, you’ll encounter a variety of flora and fauna, including colobus monkeys and colorful birdlife. After around 3-4 hours of trekking, you’ll reach Mandara Hut (2,700 meters/8,858 feet), where you can rest, take in the stunning views, and enjoy lunch. You’ll have time to explore the nearby Maundi Crater before beginning your descent back to the Marangu Gate.
The hike ends with a drive back to Arusha, where you’ll arrive in the evening, full of memories from your day on the slopes of Africa’s tallest mountain.
