You've been dreaming of your Tanzanian safari for so long, and the day when it begins has finally arrived. You will be met at Airport and welcomed to Tanzania by a Samora Explorers Ltd staff member, We'll greet you, give you a quick rundown on what happens next and answer your questions you may have.
You will start your safari with a drive to the Tarangire National Park. The park is roughly the size of Luxembourg and covers an area of about 2,600 km². Bush savannah, seasonal swamps, and giant baobab trees make up the landscape of this nature reserve and the park is probably one of the best places in East Africa to see elephants. From the open roof of the safari vehicle, you will be able to watch them and absorb the landscape. Apart from elephants, the park is also home to Maasai giraffes, various gazelles, antelopes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, baboons, and more than 500 types of birds. After a great game drive we will be heading to our lodge.

Explore Serengeti
After breakfast, you will drive up into the cooler regions of Ngorongoro Conservation Area. There will be a chance to stop and see the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. You will then transit through Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the Serengeti, entering at the South of the Park.
The Serengeti is truly spectacular. It is famous for its vast open grasslands which allow for excellent sightings of wildlife. Whilst it boasts abundant wildlife, it is perhaps best known for the annual Great Migration. Vast numbers of wildebeest; zebra and antelope move in an annual pattern, constantly seeking fresh grazing. The migration can be found during any given month; you just need to know where to look! Depending on what time of year you come, you may get a chance to witness one of the 'Seven Wonders of the Natural World'.
You will have a picnic lunch and will overnight at a Tented Camp in Central Serengeti.

Serengeti To Ngorongoro Via Masai Boma
Your final sunrise in the Serengeti! You will have a leisurely morning's game drive and gently wend your way through the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Embark on a thrilling half-day game drive through the iconic Serengeti, where the endless plains come alive with the vibrant wildlife of Africa. Witness the graceful movements of giraffes, the thunderous herds of wildebeest, and perhaps even elusive big cats prowling through the tall grass. As the sun begins to dip below the horizon, bid farewell to the Serengeti's wonders and journey to the Karatu via Ngorongoro Highlands you will stop at Masai Boma ( Masai Village ) before driving to karatu for the overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater To Arusha / Airport
When you first see Ngorongoro Crater, it looks like a forgotten world. Concealed by the steep volcanic walls is a pristine wilderness including sweeping savannah, pockets of acacia woodland and glistening lakes and swamps. The Crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago. It is famous for both its geological delights and for being a natural reserve which is home to some of the densest large mammal populations in the whole of the African continent. The drive down the into the Crater is an adventure in itself and when you reach the Crater floor, you quickly find yourself amongst large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more than 500 bird species. The Crater provides you with the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino, which can sometimes be spotted in the open grasslands.
After a picnic lunch inside the Crater, you will drive to Arusha or the airport.
