Nairobi to Taita Hills Wildlife Conservancy

Upon arrival in Nairobi or Mombasa, we will arrange for a convenient pick-up from your hotel or the airport. If you're flying in, try to book a flight arriving before 6:00 am, as this will allow us to transfer you to the SGR train station by 6:30 am to ensure timely check-in.

The SGR train departs from Nairobi terminus at exactly 8:00 am. The scenic 4-hour train ride will take you to Voi Train station, where you will arrive at 12:02 PM. Upon arrival, our hotel representatives will be waiting for you outside the train station to transfer you to the lodge. Once at the lodge, you'll be welcomed with a hot lunch and assisted with the check-in process.

In the late afternoon, around 4:00 pm, you will embark on an exciting wildlife-viewing experience. We will arrange game drives with the lodge on a per-seat sharing basis, ensuring an immersive and memorable wildlife experience.

All meals and overnight stays will be at Salt Lick Safari Lodge.

One full day to spend at leisure at the lodge with either an early morning game drive experience or an afternoon game viewing experience from 4:00 pm. We will arrange game drives with the lodge on a per-seat sharing basis, ensuring an immersive and memorable wildlife experience.

Departure and Return to Nairobi

Get ready for an amazing morning! You'll start your day with a delicious early breakfast and then head over to Voi SGR station to catch your train back to Nairobi. The train departs Voi at 9:55 AM and will have you arriving at Nairobi terminus at 2:10 PM.

Our team will be eagerly waiting for you at the train station to pick you up and transfer you to your hotel or back to the airport for your international flight home. If you have some time before your flight, we can arrange a customized city tour for you at an additional cost, followed by a transfer to the airport for your late-night departure.
