If you're coming from Johannesburg's airport, you'll fly just 1 hour into KMIA Kruger Mpumalanga Airport and be met by a representative who will transfer you to Idube Game Reserve. Check in and relax in your safari chalet before the afternoon game drive. Please note that rates include a fixed flight budget; if flights cost more, your quote will reflect this.
Idube has won numerous awards and is located in the heart of the Sabi Sands Reserve, famous for predators and Big Five wildlife. There are no fences between Kruger NP and Sabi Sand Reserve. Sabi Sand is a private reserve, and off-road game viewing is allowed to maximize the quality of your sightings. Return to the lodge in the early evening and enjoy an excellent dinner and shared stories from the day's sightings.

Day 2

Awake to the sounds of the wild savannah. Explore Sabi Sand Reserve with your guide on an early morning drive or guided walk.
Take time to appreciate not just the larger mammals but the great diversity of wildlife, birdlife, reptiles and flora during your experiences. Your guide will intrigue you with the astonishing connections in these ecosystems and the conservation steps the reserve has taken to protect its superb wildlife offering.
Return to the lodge for lunch. You can have a siesta in the middle of the day and relax by the pool (depending on the weather), enjoy the hide overlooking the resident waterhole, or even go to the gym.
Once again, in the late afternoon, we set out for another exciting game drive, sundowners and campfire stories back at the lodge, and a sumptuous dinner.

Settle into day 3 of your safari at Idube and enjoy the entertaining connection you now have with your guide as you explore once more the various areas of this superb private reserve,
Every day brings new sights and experiences. Please consider enjoying a bush walk with your guide if you haven't yet had one. To walk in the wild is to slow down, touch, smell, hear, and even taste the African savannah as your guide unfolds so much that is happening in it daily.
Once more, at Idube, enjoy the various experiences on offer back in camp, including the resident hide, where you can see animals come down to drink, or read by the pool in the heat of the day.
It's your last afternoon game drive today. Savor the sunset and your sightings. Later, around the campfire, celebrate your safari with others and your guide and reflect on not only what you've seen but also what you've learned as you've immersed yourself in this prime wildlife paradise.

After driving back to KMIA Airport in the morning, you fly to Victoria Falls for about 1 hour and 45 minutes (rates include a fixed flight budget; if flights cost more, your quote will reflect this). Here, you will be met by your transfer representative and driven on the short 25-minute journey to the Palm River Hotel, stunningly located on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, just a few kilometres above the mighty falls themselves.
After checking in and relaxing, enjoy lunch at The Palm and perhaps stretch your legs with a guided tour of the Victoria Falls Rainforest. You can also enjoy a sunset or dinner cruise on one of their wonderful boats right from the jetty of The Palm River Hotel.

Explore Victoria Falls on your only full day here, but of course, you can always extend your time by another day.
There is an excellent choice of activities available, including helicopter flights, white-water rafting, canopy tours and other zipline activities, an elephant interaction, sunset cruises at different times of day, and interesting places to enjoy lunch and dinner including The Boma, Dusty Road, The Lookout Cafe overlooking the Victoria Falls Gorge and more.

Sadly, it is the last day of your tour unless you've chosen to extend your trip.
Today, you will check out of The Palm River Hotel and be transferred by road back to Victoria Falls Airport, where you can connect to your onward flight. Contact us to extend your trip or to book a return flight to Johannesburg or Cape Town.
