Day 1

Your exciting 7-day safari adventure begins with a scenic drive from Entebbe to Lake Mburo National Park, located in western Uganda. Being the smallest game park in the country, the park has a diverse ecosytem including savannas, woodlands and wetlands. On our to the park, we will have a stopover at the equator in Masaka for photos and lunch. Continuing to the park, we will embark on an afternoon game drive, where you should expect to see zebras, impalas, creasted crane, elands and a variety of antelopes as well as bird and tree species. Later in the early evening, we will check into our lodge and enjoy a relaxing dinner.

Your morning begins with a guided nature walk in Lake Mburo National Park, offering a chance to explore its diverse landscapes and spot wildlife such as zebras, antelopes, and various bird species. After the nature walk, you’ll return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, we will embark on a scenic drive to Kibale National Park, passing through Uganda’s picturesque countryside. Upon arrival, you’ll check into your lodge in Kibale and relax in preparation for the chimpanzee tracking adventure the next day.

Your day will start with an exciting chimpanzee trekking adventure in Kibale National Park, home to one of the highest concentrations of primates in Africa. Led by experienced guides, you'll have the opportunity to observe these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat. After the trek, there is an optional visit to the nearby Bigodi Wetlands, a haven for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts known for its rich diversity. In the afternoon, you will then be transfered to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you'll go on a thrilling game drive upon arrival, searching for wildlife like elephants, lions, buffaloes, and more as the sun sets over the savannah.

You will start your day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park where you should be able to spot a variety of animals such as lions, elephants, leopards and many more species. This thrilling adventure will also take you to the famous Ishasha sector, where you’ll have the unique opportunity to view the park's renowned tree-climbing lions lounging in the branches of fig trees. After an exhilarating morning of wildlife spotting, you will return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you'll embark on a scenic boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This relaxing experience allows you to observe a variety of wildlife along the shores, including hippos, elephants, and a multitude of bird species cooling themselves, offering a unique and serene wildlife viewing experience.

You will be transfered from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After breakfast, you'll embark on a scenic drive through the beautiful Ugandan countryside, with breathtaking views of rolling hills, terraced farms, and vibrant villages along the way. As you make your way to Bwindi, you may stop for lunch at a local restaurant or enjoy a picnic in a picturesque setting. Upon arrival at Bwindi, you will check into your lodge, surrounded by the stunning rainforest that is home to the endangered mountain gorillas. The evening is yours to relax and unwind, preparing for the unforgettable gorilla trekking experience that awaits you the following day.

Day 6

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi

After an early breakfast, you’ll head to the park headquarters for a briefing from experienced park rangers who will share important guidelines on how to approach and interact with the gorillas.

You’ll then embark on your trek into the dense forest with expert guides leading you through steep and often challenging terrain in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the gorillas' movements, but when you finally come face to face with these magnificent creatures, the experience will be unforgettable. You’ll spend up to one hour in the presence of the gorillas, observing their social interactions, feeding, and caring for their young.

After your trek, you will return to your lodge for lunch and some relaxation. For those interested in cultural immersion, the afternoon offers an optional visit to the Batwa Community, where you'll learn about the traditions and lifestyle of this ccommunity.
