Maasai Lodge to Tarangire National Park

After Breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park for Game Drive. Tarangire National Park is 115 km south of Arusha. The name of the park comes from Tarangire River, which is the only source of water for wild animals during dry the season.
Tarangire National Park is the sixth largest National Park in Tanzania and very beautiful with a lot of herds of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing African pythons. During the dry season the concentration of animals around the Tarangire River is almost as diverse and reliable as in the Ngorongoro Crater. In the evening you will depart from the Tarangire National Park to the Lake Manyara Escarpment Lodge.

Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, Descend to the floor of the crater for game viewing drives. Often described as the ‘Eighth’ wonder of the World, the Ngorongoro crater is so spectacular, a natural sanctuary for over 25,000 animals, including the black rhino. It is also a conservation area inhabited by the Masai People. Picnic lunch will be served at one of the designated picnic sites on the crater floor.
As the sun sets on the western side of the crater rim, ascend and drive to the Camp to arrive in time to refresh and dinner.

After breakfast depart with packed lunches and drive to Serengeti National Park for game viewing.
Serengeti, means endless plains in the local African language and watching the grassland stretch out as far as the eye can see and eventually merging with the sky at the horizon is an absolutely breathtaking view.

The Serengeti also houses the glorious “Big 5” (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard). Along with the “Big 5”, a very pleasant sighting would be one of Africa’s most beautiful animals – The Impala

Central Serengeti National Park

Full day in Central Serengeti National Park with morning and afternoon game viewing drive in the park.
The Serengeti National Park has 6900 sq. mile park is inhabited by more than 1.5 million wildebeest, 250,000 thousand zebra, and in the region of 500,000 gazelle. January to April is the season when the wildebeest calve with upwards of a half million young being born. Large predators including lion, cheetah, and hyena, are drawn to the area by this abundance of prey. Many smaller animals such as rock hyrax, bat eared fox, mongoose, honey badger, jackal, monkey, baboon, and African hare, also here inhabit along with nearly 500 species of birds. After our game drive we return to the Camp for Dinner and Overnight.

Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti National Park

You will have two full day to the northern part of Serengeti (where the migration should be in August/October) near the Mara River in the hopes of seeing some of the migratory crossing.
The endless plains of Serengeti are also the setting for the world’s greatest wildlife spectacle – the 1.5 million wildebeest endless migration in search for fresh pastures. Each year they trek over 2,500km and are constantly threatened and followed by some of Africa’s greatest predators. Depending on the time of your visit, your driver guide will be able to share with you where the herd’s current location is at in northern Serengeti.
