The drive takes approximately 5-6 hours, offering scenic views of the Kenyan countryside. You’ll arrive at your lodge in Tsavo West in time for lunch and a brief rest. In the late afternoon, embark on your first game drive, where you can explore the Shetani Lava Flow and Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, known for its protected population of black rhinos. Day 3

Tsavo west - Amboseli

Following breakfast, you’ll depart Tsavo West and head north to Amboseli National Park, a journey of about 3-4 hours. Once you arrive, check into your lodge and enjoy a leisurely lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive across the vast plains of Amboseli, famous for its large elephant herds and the iconic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Capture the spectacular sight of elephants silhouetted against Africa’s highest mountain before retiring to your lodge for the night.

Day 4

Amboseli

Rise early for a morning game drive, when the park is at its most active, with predators hunting and herds of elephants roaming the savannah. Take in the breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, which often emerges from behind the clouds in the morning. After breakfast, you have the option of visiting a Maasai village to learn about their traditional way of life. Spend the afternoon exploring more of the park, including a visit to Observation Hill, which provides panoramic views of Amboseli’s swamps and grasslands. Conclude the day with another game drive before heading back to your lodge.

After an early breakfast, depart Amboseli and travel towards Lake Naivasha, located in the Great Rift Valley. The drive will take approximately 6 hours, offering plenty of time to absorb Kenya’s diverse landscapes. Upon arrival at Lake Naivasha, settle into your accommodation and enjoy lunch. The afternoon is perfect for a boat ride on the lake, where you can spot hippos and a variety of birdlife, including fish eagles, and herons. You may also opt for a visit to Crescent Island for a unique walking safari amidst wildlife like zebras and giraffes.
