Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

After breakfast, a professional guide from Nyanja Safaris Uganda Limited will pick you up at your hotel, depart from Entebbe\Kampala by road, and head southwest to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. We shall have a stopover at the Equator for beautiful photographic moments, then continue to Mbarara town for lunch.

After lunch, we shall head to the park as you encounter the rolling Kigezi hills, meandering rivers, and valleys, among others that add to the beauty of the landscape. You will check in at your lodge and once you settle in, prepare to have Dinner.

Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Experience

Have an early morning breakfast and set out with packed essentials like water, snacks, and a raincoat. Head to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will have a guided trek through the dense forest searching for the gorillas. The hike can take 2 to 8 hours depending on the location of the gorilla families. You will spend up to one hour observing and photographing those magnificent animals in their natural habitat, witnessing their behavior and social interactions.

Thereafter, you will trek back to the lodge for lunch as you prepare for the Batwa experience in the late afternoon. During the cultural encounter, you will engage with the Batwa community people, known as the indigenous people of the forest. You will learn about their traditional lifestyle and culture, and also get a chance to participate in interactive activities leaving you with unforgettable memories and a deeper appreciation for the region's natural and cultural heritage. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Transfer Back to Kampala/Entebbe

After an early morning breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala\ Entebbe International Airport for your flight out later in the evening. Extra accommodation on that day can be arranged at an extra cost. Please let us know in advance.
