Day 1

Pick up and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Upon arrival in Uganda, a Nyanja Safaris Uganda professional driver/guide will pick you up from Entebbe International Airport in the morning, and transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the western part of Uganda with a stopover for lunch. Enjoy a scenic drive to the park with views of meandering rivers, lakes, plantations, among others. Upon arrival, check in at the lodge and rest.

Day 2

Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth NP

After an early breakfast, you will have a game drive in the Kasenyi plains, where you will have spectacular views of animals like elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards, Uganda Kobs, bushbucks, and birds, among others. After the drive, return to the lodge, relax, and have lunch.

After lunch, you will have a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel that connects Lake Edward and George. Along the ride, you will have a close encounter with huge hippos, crocodiles, elephants drinking water, and bird species along the banks. After the ride, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Transfer to Bwindi NP via the Ishasha Sector

Transfer to Bwindi NP via the Ishasha Sector

After an early breakfast, check out and head for a game drive in the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth NP before you connect to Bwindi NP. Along the drive, you will witness the treasures of the Ishasha region, the rare tree-climbing lions. The lions are usually seen relaxing or sleeping on top of fig/acacia trees. Get your cameras ready to capture that beautiful experience.

After that, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park with lunch enroute. Upon arrival, head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest

After an early morning breakfast, head to the park head quarters with a packed lunch and your tracking attires. You will have a briefing from the park officials and then head to the forest for a guided trek. The trek takes 2 to 8 hours depending on the location of the gorilla families. Once they are located. You will be allowed to spend one hour observing them in their natural habitat. Get your cameras ready for that lifetime memorable adventure.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the forest as you share the memories of your experience. Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Kampala/Entebbe with lunch enroute. You will have a stopover at the Equator for photography. Head to Entebbe International Airport for your flight back home.
