We will pick you up from the airport, and based on your arrival time, we can arrange either a city sightseeing tour or a short hike to Kilima Moto, where you can enjoy a scenic sunset view in Arusha. This will give you a great start to what promises to be an exciting safari. We recommend arriving in the afternoon to make the most of this day.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire

Arusha to Tarangire

The drive from Arusha to Tarangire takes approximately 2 hours. Once we arrive, we’ll embark on a full-day game drive, visiting prime locations to spot lions, cheetahs, leopards, and classic herbivores such as elephants, wildebeest, buffalo, deer, and gazelles. There will be plenty to observe. In the late afternoon, while others are leaving, we’ll continue our game drive, enjoying a less crowded and more active atmosphere in Tarangire. Later, we will camp in an authentic wilderness camp within Tarangire, allowing you to experience the peace and quiet, unlike the busier camps in the Serengeti.

Day 3

Tarangire early morning game & night game drive

Tarangire early morning game & night game drive

We will begin our day with an early morning game drive in Tarangire at 6:00 am, continuing until late morning when we’ll check out, just as more jeeps and the sun begin to appear. Afterward, we will head to Fig Tree Lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, we’ll embark on a cultural trip to Mto wa Mbu, where you’ll visit farms, waterfalls, and enjoy a biking tour. Later, we’ll return to the lodge to refresh and have dinner. But the day isn't over yet—at 8:00 pm, we’ll set out for a night game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, where you’ll get the chance to see nocturnal animals in a quiet, less crowded wilderness, adding a unique dimension to your safari. We’ll return to Fig Tree Lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 4

Ngorongoro to Serengeti

Ngorongoro to Serengeti

After breakfast, we will make our way to Ngorongoro, as it serves as a transit route to Serengeti National Park. At Ngorongoro, we'll stop at the viewpoint to take in the stunning scenery and capture some photos before continuing our journey to Serengeti. We will arrive in the afternoon, enjoy lunch, and then set out for an evening game drive. Later, we will camp at Seronera Campsite.

Day 5

After an early breakfast, we will head out for a game drive, exploring different areas of the park. We will return to the camp for lunch and then prepare for our journey back to Ngorongoro. Here, we will spend the night at Simba Campsite, located right on the edge of the crater, getting ready for an early morning descent the next day.

After an early breakfast, we will descend into the crater to search for the elusive black rhinos. While rhinos are the hardest to spot in this scenic crater, most other animals are easier to see due to the park being situated on the crater floor. After lunch, we will continue with a game drive before ascending the crater, heading back to camp, and then returning to Arusha.
