Day 2

Ndutu South Serengeti

The long-awaited day has finally arrived, and your experienced guide will pick you up from your hotel and provide a detailed overview of the next three days. Following a briefing, you will embark on a scenic journey to Ndutu Serengeti for an unforgettable day of game drives. During peak season (December to April), the once-fertile plains become calving and nursery grounds for the great migration. This spectacle attracts a large number of predators looking for opportunities among the vulnerable young wildebeest. During the dry season, the waterholes bordered by Ndutu Lake and Lake Masek attract a wide variety of wildlife. Ndutu is home to six species of majestic big cats, which adds to the allure of this remarkable destination.

After breakfast, your seasoned driver-guide will take you on another mesmerizing game drive in search of the Big Five with your picnic lunch. You will have a full day to explore the Ndutu early and intensively. After a memorable time inside the Ndutu Area, you'll drive back to the crater rim at your luxury lodge for dinner and relaxation waiting on the adventures of the next day.

Formed two million years ago by a massive volcanic eruption, its rich, fertile soil has given rise to a unique ecosystem that supports the highest concentration of wildlife in Africa.
