Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

You will leave Kampala in the morning to start your Murchison Falls National Park safari. You'll have lunch along the way, after lunch proceed to the park, after making payments for park entry drive towards the top of the falls, here along the way you will see various animals such as warthogs, baboons among others.

Being at the top of the falls is an amazing experience as you will watch the magnificent falls squeezing through the rocks in an 8m gorge. Take as many photos as you can. Later drive to the lodge, relax the whole evening, have dinner and an overnight.

Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise and transfer to masindi

In the early morning, you will head out for a game drive where you can see big cats hunting, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, plus more as the checklist of mammals reaches 76. You'll continue browsing the drive circuits to the Delta point for a cocktail of birds and mammals. After the game drives, you'll go for lunch before it is time for a 3-hour boat ride to the base of the falls where you get to see hippos (you have never seen more hippos yawning and grooming in their pods anywhere else than here)! Nile crocodiles, elephants, and various beautiful bird species along the banks. If you are a keen birder, this might be your magnet to catch them. This is a grand start to your visit to this great animal home.

Transfer back to Kampala

In the morning, you will check out and go for a second game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. This gives you a last chance to see big cats and impressive giraffes. Then, you'll head on to visit the top of the falls. This is a magnificent classic highlight on your last day of the safari as an explosive dash of water at close range gushes through a narrow crevice. After this, you will leave the park and start the journey back to Kampala having lunch along the way.
