Start your journey early in the morning from your place of residence within Nairobi, embarking on a scenic 6-hour drive to Samburu National Reserve. En route, you will cross the equator and enjoy the changing landscapes, from lush highlands to the arid regions of northern Kenya. Upon arrival at your lodge or camp in Samburu, settle in and have lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive. During this drive, you may spot Samburu’s unique species like the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay under the stars.
