First day of your 6 Days Luxury Safari adventure in Tanzania, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha or directly from Kilimanjaro International Airport if you have an early morning arrival, and transfer to Arusha Domestic Airport, where you will take your early morning flight to the Serengeti National Park.
Your private safari guide will meet you at the airstrip on arrival, and the adventure in Serengeti begins straightaway! We will spend the rest of the day exploring the vast Serengeti plains in search for the Big Cats as well as large and small game alike. Serengeti’s name is derived from the Masai Word’ Siringit’ which means endless plains.
Late in the afternoon you will be taken to your lodge or camp for relaxation and later dinner and overnight in the middle of the Serengeti. Overnight at Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge. Lunch and Dinner included.

On this second day of your safari adventure in Tanzania, you have an option to wake up early for a sunrise safari if you don’t mind waking up early. The early morning safari game drive offers unique opportunity to spot a few nocturnal species retiring from a night hunting outing, but also the animals tend to be more active during this time before the sun is hot.
You may also choose to wake up for a hearty breakfast in the morning then leave the camp with a lunch box in order to spend the whole day out there in the wilderness searching for animals.
The over 14,000 Kilometers square of wilderness makes Serengeti one of the best wildlife safari destinations in the world. The Serengeti is home to the wildebeests migration, the big cats; Lions, leopards and Cheetahs but also the Big 5 of Africa. With a little bit of luck you may spot the lions, elephants, buffaloes, Rhinos, leopards, zebras, giraffes, impalas, gazelles, topis, hartebeests, jackals, hyenas.

Day 4
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast at your lodge or camp on this morning, you will depart from Serengeti and transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with game viewing en route. You will be entering the NCA through the Naabi Hill Gate where you will make a brief stop for registration. You will arrive at your lodge at the Crater rim where you will check in at your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Optional Activities: On your way to Ngorongoro Highlands, you will have the options of visiting one of the Masai Villages to learn about the famous Masai tribe’s culture. This offers you a rare chance to learn a few facts about their lifestyle, cultures and traditions. You may also visit the Olduvai Gorge an archaeological site with a museum on site; a place where Dr Luis and Mary Leakey discovered the fossils of the hominid that they named Zinjanthropus boisei (later reclassified as Paranthropus boisei). Overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. All meals included.

Day 5

Early morning breakfast this morning or depart with picnic breakfast so as to descend as early as possible to the Ngorongoro Crater’s floor. The earlier we descend the better the chances of avoiding any crowds especially during the peak season of July to September but also that presents a better opportunity to spot more animals before the sun is hot. Once at the Crater floor you will start your full day of wildlife safari game drives that will go on until time for the picnic lunch at the hippo pool side picnic site.
Ngorongoro Crater is often referred as the garden of Eden because of its abundance of animals and birds which can be spotted easily and a very close range. Ngorongoro Crater is also a Big Five destination and with some little luck you may be able to spot all of them in a single day. It is estimated that the Ngorongoro Crater floor is home to over 30.000 animals, large and small game alike.

Day 6
Lake Manyara – Fly to Arusha
Lake Manyara – Fly to Arusha
This is the last day of your 6 days Luxury Tanzania safari tour and you will wake up for a leisurely breakfast after which you will check out and transfer to the Manyara Airstrip where you will catch a flight back to Arusha or to Zanzibar via Arusha. You will be picked up at Arusha Airport and transferred back to your hotel in Arusha town where your safari ends.
