Day 1

Zanzibar – Serengeti National Park

We will pick you up from anywhere in Zanzibar town and take you to Zanzibar airport for a domestic flight to Seronera airstrip. When you arrive at Seronera airstrip, our guide will be waiting to greet you and lead you on a thrilling game drive with a picnic lunch. In the evening, we will head to your camp where you can enjoy dinner and spend the night. (Flight dep 08:00 Arrives 10:15)

The word "Serengeti" comes from the Maasai language and means "endless plains." These expansive grasslands are home to many predators, such as over four thousand lions, 225 cheetahs, a thousand leopards, 3500 hyenas, and hundreds of wild dogs! There are also numerous other magnificent animals that inhabit these plains, and your knowledgeable guide will be excited to search for them with you.

After breakfast, indulge in a full day of game drives, traversing the rolling plains of Serengeti National Park in search of majestic predators and the graceful herbivores on which they feast. Later in the day, you will proceed to your reserved accommodation within the national park.

Following breakfast, gather your lunch boxes and embark on a final game drive en route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Today, you will have the opportunity to visit one of Africa's seven wonders, the Ngorongoro Crater. This remarkable natural marvel was formed by a massive volcanic eruption two million years ago, resulting in a unique ecosystem. The crater boasts the highest concentration of animals in all of Africa.

Within the Ngorongoro Crater, you will have the opportunity to encounter numerous lion families, impressive herds of buffalos, elegant zebras, graceful wildebeests, and an array of other captivating species. This extraordinary sanctuary offers an exceptional chance to witness the elusive black rhino, making it a truly unparalleled experience.

Enjoy breakfast and gather your lunch boxes as we proceed to Lake Manyara National Park. Today, you will have the chance to witness the breathtaking view of Lake Manyara, observe elephants up close in the woodlands, and visit the renowned Manyara hippo pool where numerous hippos reside from early morning until late evening. After game drive we will drive back to Arusha for your schedule flight to Zanzibar. (Flight Dep 17:00pm and arrive Zanzibar 18:15pm).

Lake Manyara National Park offers a magnificent view of the 400-meter-deep Great Rift Valley. This geological wonder, formed around 22 to 25 million years ago, stretches thousands of kilometers throughout East Africa. The valley's immense size allows it to be seen from outer space, and it boasts a variety of unique landscapes that attract a diverse range of animal species. Apart from Lake Manyara itself, the park is home to dense rainforests teeming with monkeys and a multitude of bird species.
