Transfer and Game Drive Ngorongoro Crater

After a relaxing morning at your accommodation your guide will pick you up from your Arusha accommodation and head off on your journey to Ngorongoro Crater. Arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater rim around lung time - descending to the crater floor to enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park. The crater only allows game drives until 4:00pm daily at which time you must ascend the crater rim and go to your accommodations for the evening.

Spend the night at your crater rim accommodation perched high on the crater rim!

Game Drive Ngorongoro Crater & Central Serengeti

We recommend starting your morning as early as possible - taking a boxed breakfast if necessary, descend to the crater floor once more for a sunrise game drive. After a morning game drive and breakfast in the crater ascend the crater rim and transfer to the Central region of the Serengeti. Along the drive pass through the Ngorongoro conservancy and capture your first views of the massive herds of migrating wildebeest and zebra.

Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the central region before retiring to your camp for the evening.

Game Drive Central Serengeti

Enjoy a full day in the central region of the Serengeti - popular year round for safari goers and wildlife alike. This area is noted to have the largest density of predator cats due to its access to fresh water year round.
Spend this day as you please - full day game drive with a picnic lunch or choose to return to your camp for a lunch and afternoon relaxing! The decision is yours and the benefit of having your own private guide/truck.

Game Drive Southern Serengeti

After a final morning game drive in Central Serengeti - transfer to the southern region and game drive the rest of the day. This time of year the southern region is teeming with action! The massive migrating herds of herbivores have arrived on the short grass plains in order to give birth! Estimated 8,000 wildebeest calves are born each day over the course of just a few short weeks!

Game Drive Southern Serengeti

Spend another FULL day exploring the southern region of the Serengeti. Ndutu is a magical place - a mix of short grass plains and bush land. Spend all morning exploring the area - looking for predator cats or other wildlife of interest. You can choose to game drive all day with a picnic lunch or return to your camp in the afternoon for a rest and enjoyment.
