Day 1
Windhoek to Sossusvlei

This morning, Mhof Tours and Safaris will collect you from your various accommodations in Windhoek. You'll then depart from Windhoek at 10:00 AM in your safari vehicle with your private guide and drive southwest through the scenic Khomas Hochland highlands before heading down the Great Escarpment into the Namib Desert below. Lunch can be had en route (at your own expense). You'll arrive at Namib Desert Lodge in the mid-afternoon, where you will stay for two nights whilst you explore the remarkable sights of the Namib Desert with your guide. If there is still time today, your guide will take you to visit the Sesriem Canyon, a nearby geological attraction, or explore the Elim Dune. However, if you prefer, you can just relax in the scenic and tranquil surroundings at Namib Desert Lodge. You'll return and freshen up after a long day for dinner, and the rest of the night is spent at your siesta.

Day 2

This morning, after an early wake-up call, you will meet at the lobby, where you will have coffee/tea and rusk. You will set off for the Sossusvlei Excursion, the road to Namib Naukluft Park. The earlier you leave to join the queue to the entrance for Sossusvlei, the better. You stand the chance to capture the dunes whilst the light is soft and the shadows accentuate the towering shapes and the curves of the dunes. After the most awesome experience of climbing the highest dune called Big Daddy at Sossuvlei. Once you have explored Sossusvlei and Deadvlei and the surrounding dune fields, you will enjoy a relaxed picnic brunch in the shade of a camelthorn tree. You'll return to the lodge in the earlier afternoon in time for a late lunch (at your own expense). The late afternoon can be spent visiting Sesriem Canyon afterwards if you haven’t visited it the previous day. The rest of the day is spent at your leisure.

Day 3
Sossusvlei to Coast

The attractive drive today takes you northwest through the amazing and ever-changing desert landscapes of the Namib
Naukluft National Park, including the impressive Ghaub and Kuiseb Canyon via Kuiseb pass. You will meet the coast
at the port town of Walvis Bay and then continue north to Swakopmund, where you can enjoy the pleasant seaside
location and cooler coastal breeze for your next night. The day is spent at your leisure. There are different activities
offered at Swakopmund, which is optional for your own account. Here you can ask your guide and he will advise you
about the different activities which are for your own account. Freshen up for your dinner, and you can explore the town
along the waterfront on foot before dinner at the local restaurant.

Day 4
Coast to Etosha National Park

Today, after an early, breathtaking breakfast, you'll head to Walvis Bay. The morning will take you on a most
incredible activity to Walvis Bay. You'll meet with the local guide and depart on a half-day Sandwich Harbour tour, which starts at 8:30 am and goes until 12:30 pm.
After the activity, you will meet with your guide at the waterfront and head towards Etosha National Park. Lunch is
had en route. You will be arriving in the late afternoon. After you check in, you'll meet with your guide at the main area
and will be off in your private vehicle on a game viewing, visiting waterholes. If you are lucky, you will spot the predators, but otherwise, you will see zebras, giraffes, elephants, rhinos, and many different species of antelope. You'll freshen up for
your dinner. After dinner, you can relax at the main area watching game that comes and goes and the rest of
the night is on your siesta.

Day 5

You will spend most of the day searching for animals as you make your way through the game reserve towards Namutoni, our next rest camp. You will visit several waterholes and stop to view the Etosha Pan, also known as the “place of dry water”. This extensive, flat depression is about 5,000 km and is a place of shimmering mirages. Seeing large herds of game in this setting is a unique experience. You may stop at Halali (the middle camp) to have lunch before you continue to Namutoni.
At Namutoni, you will be able to relax at the swimming pool or waterhole before a late afternoon game drive. The game viewing here is usually excellent, with close-up views of springboks, zebras, impalas, giraffes, gemsboks, and plenty of birds. You may also see elephants and lions. In the evening, you can enjoy a glass of wine and a fabulous sunset from the tower of the old Namibian German fort before dinner.

Day 6
Departure
Departure
After a morning game drive and the opportunity to take some more pictures of Etosha's wildlife, be prepared for the long, scenic transit back to Windhoek. You'll pass through towns and rural areas, stopping in the small town of Okahandja, the home of Namibia’s largest wood carving market. The stalls operate on a local cooperative basis and offer a vast array of truly Namibian souvenirs. You will be back in Windhoek in the afternoon no later than 4:00 pm. You will be dropped off at your accommodation. For those who are returning to their respective countries, please arrange with the guide so that you can drive as early as possible.
