Day 1

Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park with a packed Lunch for a full-day game drive, Lake Manyara National Park, is a small but diverse park 120km west of Arusha. Everything you’ll see here is on a different scale. It is both compact (this is one of the narrowest parks in Africa) and epic (the Great Rift Escarpment towers over Lake Manyara’s western boundary).

The park’s namesake is a shallow, Salt Lake. It covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons, and is home to thousands of wading birds (including flamingos and over 500 other bird species). You may see baboons and elephants in the park’s thick evergreen forest, and watch for the tree-climbing lions that have become famous throughout Africa. You will have a picnic lunch within the park then later you will drive to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will check out and drive to the Southern Serengeti Ndutu area with game on route, dinner, and overnight will be at. Lake Manyara National Park is considered as an all year round game park however the dry season from July to November is considered the best time for game viewing.

Lake Manyara National Park is a protected area in Tanzania's Arusha and Manyara Regions, situated between Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley. It is administered by the Tanzania National Parks Authority, and covers an area of 325 km² including about 230 km² lake surface.

Day 4

Southern Serengeti Ndutu Area

Southern Serengeti Ndutu Area

After breakfast, you will have a full day game drive in southern Serengeti around Ndutu area, stopping off to experience more wonder on the way Whilst it boasts abundant wildlife, it is perhaps best known for the annual Great Migration. Vast numbers of wildebeest; zebra and antelope move in an annual pattern, constantly seeking fresh grazing.

The migration can be found during any given month; you just need to know where to look! At this time of year, the Migration is normally in Southern Serengeti / Ndutu (Ndutu is part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area). One of the main features of this area is Lake Ndutu. It is an alkaline lake (like most of the other Rift Valley Lakes) and is a treasured source of water.

Ngorongor Crater to Lake Eyasi

You will check out from the Lodge after an early breakfast and drive to Ngorongoro for a crater tour. We will start very early and descend into the crater floor for an incredible morning of wildlife in one of the most stunning places on Earth. After the game drive, there will be time for a picnic lunch near the beautiful Hippo Lake. After lunch, we will have time for a game drive and then drive to Lake Eyasi for, dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Lake Eyasi Excursion

Lake Eyasi Excursion

You will wake up early in the Morning and drive to the Hadzabe village, for hunting and excursions, you will also visit the Datoga community to see how they are making tools and other ornaments, they are the only blacksmith in the county, then after lunch you will do walking along the Lake Eyasi before driving to Karatu town for dinner and overnight.
