Day 2

You will head to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive.
Upon arriving at the Tarangire gate, you'll complete your registration before embarking on an exhilarating game drive through a stunning expanse of endless golden savannah that envelops the Tarangire River. The river flows continuously, serving as an essential water source for the local wildlife during the dry season. The river, adorned with acacia and baobab trees, attracts frequent visits from the park's substantial elephant population, along with various herbivores like zebras, buffaloes, and antelopes.

Enjoying a picnic lunch amidst nature offers a wonderful opportunity to soak in the surroundings, but be vigilant as the local monkeys are quite adept at trying to snatch your meal!

As you navigate through the park, you'll encounter majestic lions, elusive leopards, formidable cape buffalo, and an impressive array of antelopes, you will head to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

An early start is recommended, as you have a full day of exploration and excitement ahead of you!

You will start the day with a lovely journey to the Serengeti. Along the route, you'll pass through the rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you could spot some animals suc as cape buffalo, baboons, elephants, and possible leopards.

The trip to the Serengeti National Park gates is long, but one of the extra activities might help you pass the time.

Following a delightful lunch at the Serengeti National Park picnic area, it's time to explore the Serengeti. You will see Africa's distinctive savannah environment and be astounded by the sheer quantity of animals that wander these green plains.

Your day will commence right after breakfast, as you navigate through the vast Serengeti plains and kopjes, heading towards the Seronera region in Central Serengeti. As you journey through this remarkable landscape, you'll encounter a diverse array of wildlife, from the elusive dik-diks to majestic elephants, and a multitude of species in between.

Seronera is frequently referred to as 'big cat country', where its kopjes and acacias create an ideal setting for observing a pride of relaxed lions, agile cheetahs on the prowl, and leopards surveying their domain from elevated vantage points.

The area's hippo pools and expansive landscapes offer abundant chances for observing wildlife.

We recommend an early breakfast to give you time to explore the Serengeti on your final day before heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Our drive into the Serengeti will take you on a different route, giving you several chances to spot species you missed on day two. Wildebeests and zebras traveling together, towering and graceful giraffes, jumping antelopes and gazelles, the magnificent African elephant, and the respected predators are everywhere. Expect to see elegant cheetahs, stealthy leopards, scavenging hyenas, and the majestic lion, the genuine savannah king.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area offers actual Maasai bomas to visit. This section is Maasai-only.

An internationally popular safari destination, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to over 120 animal species, including the Big Five. It's nice to observe the endangered black rhinoceros eating alone on the grass plains and the many hippopotamuses enjoying the cold water.

Lions, jackals, hyenas, wildebeest, zebras, antelope, cape buffalo, and more live in the crater. One of Africa's top safari spots.

After a day of thrills, have a picnic lunch beside the park's famed hippo pool.

You will be picked up and transported to Arusha Airport for a morning flight to Zanzibar. When you arrive at Zanzibar Airport, you will be greeted and driven to your resort on the magnificent Zanzibar Island.
