Your guide meets you at the airport after arrival. We start our drive through the Khomas Hochland Mountains, along the breathtaking landscapes of the Namibia Desert to Solitare for a lunch break. Our lodge for today is surrounded by the highest dunes in the world. Enjoy the tranquility of the desert and let this day fade out with a sundowner drive (optional). We have dinner and our overnight stay with breakfast at Desert Hills Lodge.

Dune 45 / Dead Vlei and the Sesriem Canyon
In the early morning hours, we enter Sossusvlei where you can experience the sunrise at Dune 45. Whilst you have the opportunity to climb the highest dunes in the world, your guide prepares the breakfast picnic under African skies. In the afternoon, you will visit the Sesriem Canyon, probably the smallest canyon in the world. Alternatively, we can organize a scenic flight over the Namib at your request, or you can participate in a quad biking tour through the area (not included in the original offer). We have dinner and our overnight stay with breakfast at Desert Hills Lodge.

Return to Windhoek
After a relaxing breakfast, the safari takes us over the Spreedshoogte Pass, where we can enjoy breathtaking views over the oldest desert in the world. We will get back to Windhoek over the Khomas Hochland Mountains in the afternoon.
