After your break, continue on to Barafu Camp, which serves as the base camp for our trip.

Barafu Camp - Uhuru Peak - Mweka Camp
You’ll be awakened at 2330hrs with a quick serving of tea and biscuits. We’ll then begin our trek to the summit, navigating between the Rebman and Ratzel glaciers. Heading in a north-westerly direction, we’ll ascend through challenging scree toward Stella Point on the crater rim. This section is the most mentally and physically demanding of the trek.
At Stella Point (5,732m), we’ll take a brief rest and, if the weather permits, be treated to a breathtaking sunrise. Continuing to Uhuru Peak (5,895m), we will reach the highest point on Mount Kilimanjaro and the entire African continent. While it can be quite cold at night at these elevations, it typically warms up as the day progresses.
