Arrival In Nairobi and Depart for Lake Naivasha

Check for flights arriving in Nairobi in the morning or before noon in readiness to depart for Lake Naivasha for an overnight stay at The Great Rift Valley Lodge.

Our team will meet you upon arrival at the airport. After a pre-safari briefing and introduction to your safari driver guide, depart and drive dropping down the eastern wall of the Great Rift Valley. Our driver guide will stop at strategic viewpoints for photography opportunities, allowing you to come out and view the escarpment and take photos. You will continue with the drive southwesterly to The Great Rift Valley Lodge to arrive in time for lunch or late lunch.

Afternoon at leisure to relax and unwind enjoying the resorts amenities.

Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, depart at 07:30hrs and drive to Masai Mara Game Reserve to arrive in time for lunch or late lunch.

Zebra Plains Mara Camp:

The camp is located below Oldonyo Oloip Ridge, home to the Monika pride of lions, and offers the best views of the open plains of the Mara, frequented by giraffes, zebras, impalas, topis, buffaloes, and many other plain game. The camp has a water hole in front of it that gets busy during the dry season.

At 16:00hrs, enjoy an afternoon game-viewing drive in the park before returning for dinner and an overnight stay at Zebra Plains Mara Camp.

Masai Mara Game Reserve

One full day in the Mara with morning and afternoon game drives in the Reserve at 06:30hrs and 16:00hrs respectively. Maasai Mara is a magnificent landscape of open plains bisected by the Mara River and its tributaries, punctuated by marshes and forests. This 650 sq kilometer reserve supports the highest density of game to be seen anywhere considering its size.

It is on this very terrain that the annual migration takes place when millions of zebra, wildebeest, and gazelle cross the plains below, on their way to the rich new grasses of the Serengeti. A spectacle that should be witnessed in one’s lifetime!

Masai Mara Game Reserve to Nairobi

Get ready for breakfast and check out from the Camp. Depart at 9:30 am for Nairobi and plan to arrive around 17:00 hrs. After that, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your late-night scheduled flight. Depending on your flight departure timings, we can arrange a hotel for you in Nairobi for refreshment and relaxation. Later, we will transfer you to the airport for your international flight back home.
