Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, our driver will be waiting for you. After a brief introduction, you will be transferred to Arusha if you have time and energy our guide can give you a short town tour so as to enjoy the beauty of the city and its people.

Arusha is a gateway to safari destination found in the Northeast and is located in the northern highlands of Tanzania, beneath the twin peaks of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro, the city of approximately 400,000 people is mostly dominated by Maasai and Meru people.

Day 2

Arusha - Tarangire National Park (2-hours transfer)

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your reserved hotel and take you to Tarangire National Park for a game drive with a picnic lunch. After the game drive, you will continue to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, which is the only source of water for the wild animals here during the dry season. The park is famous for its large numbers of elephants, baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will collect your lunch boxes and head towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Today, you'll explore one of Africa's Seven Natural Wonders, the Ngorongoro Crater, which formed after a massive volcanic eruption two million years ago. The fertile soil from the lava has created a unique ecosystem, supporting the highest concentration of wildlife in Africa. After an exciting game drive in the crater, you will continue to Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay.

The Ngorongoro Crater is home to many lion families, buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, and many more species. Nowhere else offers a chance as good as this to spot the rare black rhinos.

Day 4

After breakfast, you will proceed with a game drive safari in the Serengeti exploring the rolling plains of Serengeti National Park in search of large predators and the gentle herbivorous, on which they feed. In the late afternoon, you will proceed to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay. (A hot air balloon ride can be added at an extra cost)

The word Serengeti stems from the Maasai language and literally means endless plains. Many predators roam these vast grasslands; over four thousand lions, 225 cheetahs, a thousand leopards, 3500 hyenas, and hundreds of wild dogs! Of course, plenty of other beautiful animals, which your guide will be delighted to search for together with you.

Day 5

Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha (3-hours transfer)

After breakfast, you'll collect lunch boxes and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park. On this day, you will enjoy the excellent view over Lake Manyara, see elephants up close in the woodlands, and visit the renowned Manyara hippo pool. After the game drive, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.

The park offers a great view of the 400-meter-deep Great Rift Valley. This tear in the earth came into existence 22 to 25 million years ago when movement in a weak area of the earth’s crust led to the formation of a rift thousands of kilometers long through the whole of East Africa. The valley is so enormous it can be seen from outer space and it has many unique landscapes that attract a vast number of different animals. Besides being home to Lake Manyara itself you can also find dense rainforest here with hundreds of groups of monkeys and a huge number of birds.
