Day 1

Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up from your hotel or from the airport by our office representative who will then take you through the itinerary for clarification. You will then board the safari jeep and drive through the great rift valley with a stop over for a photo session at the view point and then drive further to arrive in time for lunch at Zebra Plains Mara Camp. Relax in the afternoon and enjoy an afternoon safari from 1600 hours at the reserve with a chance to see lions, cheetahs, gazelles, topis and impalas among other animals. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Exploring Masai Mara

Exploring Masai Mara

This day is spent exploring the reserve. You will have an early morning breakfast and then leave the camp with packed lunch. This is a good time to see the big cats hunting. Masai Mara occupies an area of 1,510 square km and no matter where you drive in this reserve you are sure to see animals ranging from Elephants, Zebras, Wildebeests, Gazelles, Elands, Lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, Black Rhinos, among others. On this day, you will also get a chance to visit the Mara river where the massive migration and river crossing of wildebeests and zebras takes place every year from July to September which is considered to be the seventh wonder of the world. Our guide will show you the perfect place to enjoy your packed lunch under a tree as you view the Savannah. After lunch, you will drive back as you view more animals and get to your camp later in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 3

Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha

Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha

On this day, you will have breakfast then check out of the camp and proceed to Lake Naivasha which is approximately a 4 hour drive. Upon arrival, you will check in at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort then have lunch and some time to relax. In the afternoon, proceed to go for a boat ride on the lake. A boat ride on the lake is highly recommended as the lake is home to over 400 different species of birds and a sizeable population of hippos. Afterwards in the evening return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park

Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, transfer to Amboseli National Park to arrive in time for a late lunch at 2:00 pm. Enjoy an afternoon game drive from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Amboseli is crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain. The park is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up-close.
Dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Sopa Lodge.

Day 5

Amboseli National Park

This day is spent exploring the park with an early morning game drive at 6:30 am and an afternoon game drive at 4:00 pm. Nature lovers can explore different habitats here ranging from the dried up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savanna and woodlands. The park is home to African elephants, gazelles, zebras, wildebeests, Masai giraffes and on a lucky day lions and cheetahs.
Dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Sopa Lodge.

Day 6

Amboseli to Nairobi

Amboseli to Nairobi

On this day you will have breakfast, then check out of the lodge and depart for Nairobi through the breathtaking views of the Great rift valley. You will be dropped off at your Nairobi hotel or at the airport for your flight back home.
As well as the wildlife, the park is home to the community of Masai warriors. Their bravery is known the world over in their battles with the animals of the savanna, and they welcome you into their culture with traditional song and dance. You have a chance to witness their culture and visit a home to better know their extraordinary way of life. This visit is optional and there is an extra fee of US$30 applicable.
Optional activities on this day can be, half day city tour, cultural experience at the Bomas of Kenya and dinner at The Carnivore restaurant for exotic meals(to be paid direct).
