Ngorongoro crater tour (Ngorongoro to Arusha)

On the final day of your safari, we will start early. After a quick breakfast, we'll descend into the crater bottom at around 6:30 a.m. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest inactive, undamaged, and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a vast floor of over 260 square kilometers and a depth of more than 2,000 feet. During the 5 to 6-hour game drive on the crater bottom, you'll have plenty of opportunities to see animals. It's highly advised to have your camera ready. The area is abundant with African elephants, buffalo, black rhinos, hippopotamuses, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions. After our picnic lunch by the stunning hippo pool, we'll start a challenging hike to the top exit of the crater. This is the last leg of your safari, with a 4-hour drive remaining to Arusha.
