Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

You will be picked up from your the airport in the morning and you will head west. Cross the Equator at Kayabwe and you will be in time for lunch at your lodge and then an evening drive in this scenic park, home to several wildlife species not easily seen elsewhere in Uganda, including Burchell's zebra and impala. There is plenty of wildlife to see, including Rothschild's giraffe, buffalo and defassa waterbuck.

Retire to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Wake up early for a morning game drive to catch all the nocturnal animals and experience all the fauna beauty this park can serve.
Return to the lodge for a midmorning breakfast and head out to Kisoro whre Mgahinda Gorilla National Park is located. Mgahinga Gorilla National Park covers the slopes of the majestic Virungas, a range of freestanding volcanoes that rises to a maximum altitude of 4,507m/14,787ft on the border with Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

Gorilla and Golden Monkey Tracking

Have a very early morning breakfast and head out to the starting point for briefing, then get into the forest with armed rangers in search of gorillas and golden monkeys. When you spot the mountain gorillas, you will be allowed to spend an hour in their presence. A very memorable experience.
The golden monkeys are often found within the bamboo section of the forest where they enjoy the shoots as a delicacy.
The exact time of tracking is not exact as it depends on the previous night's sighting.

Return to the lodge for a well deserved rest, dinner and overnight.

Activities on Lake Bunyonyi

You will set off in the morning after breakfast and drive to Kabale- Lake Bunyonyi, known by many as the 'Switzerland of Africa'. This shimmering water body dotted with 29 islands with various shapes and sizes scattered across the water will amaze you.

Lake Bunyonyi is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of (2,200 – 2,478m).

After lunch, you will do some sight seeing, boating to some of the historical islands and and relaxation.

Transfer to Entebbe

The day begins with a delightful breakfast, after which you will prepare to drive back to Entebbe. You will have a stopover at Igongo Cultural Centre and museum for lunch then proceed.

You will arrive in Entebbe town in evening and be transferred to Entebbe.

This marks the end of your safari.
