Londorossi gate (2250 m) – Big Tree Camp (2780 m)

You will be picked up from Key's Hotel after breakfast and taken to the 2,250-meter-tall Londorossi Gate. You'll start an interesting adventure with a bumpy drive into the deep rainforest after the registration process is complete. The track crosses an unspoiled natural forest at a moderate grade and goes to the Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,780 m). For the first two days of your trek, an armed ranger will accompany you because there is wild game in the area. You can spend the night in tents provided by Big Tree Camp.

Mti mkubwa Camp (2780 m) – Shira Camp 2 (3900 m)

This is going to be a long hike on a small route into the rainforest. The surrounding terrain becomes more parched and bleak as you ascend, with the woodland gradually becoming thinner. Throughout the moorland are ericas and lobelia. You should reach Shira Camp 1 after four to five hours of driving past Shira Ridge. Enjoy a noon break, unwind, and gaze at distant views of Mount Meru and the Rift Valley from this location. After three hours of hiking, you will have ascended 250 meters.
Reaching the Shira Camp 2, your final objective for the day, will require you to cross massive senecios, some of which are roughly nine meters tall, as you navigate the solidified lava. Not only may you have dinner in the evening, but if you're lucky, you might also be able to see the top glowing orange from the sunset.
Breakfast, lunch, and supper are the three meals.

Shira Camp 2 (3900 m) – Lava Tower (4640 m) – Barranco Camp (3960 m)

With today's stretch, your body will become accustomed to the steadily rising altitude. Your target for the day is the Barranco Camp, which is just somewhat higher than your previous accommodation. However, you will need to detour to the 4,640-meter-high Lava Tower. The long walk above the Shira Plateau towards the Lava Tower starts the ascent. The area progressively becomes an alpine desert as the vegetation gradually vanishes. You will reach your tent after hiking through the Barranco Valley, which is covered in lobelia and senecio, for six to seven hours. Your overnight campground is the Barranco Camp, which is considered to be among the most beautiful sites on the mountain.

Trekking From Barranco Camp (3960 m) to Karanga Camp (4035 m)

Today is going to be filled with several ascents and descents. The hardest part of the entire journey, the Barranco Wall, will be your first obstacle. While you climb, you might need to help yourself with your hands, but your guides will always be available. At the top of the Barranco wall, you can wander along the mountain ridge that offers amazing views of Kibo's southern glacier and the summit. At Karanga Camp, where the day will consist of a well-earned break, you will arrive around lunchtime.

Barafu Camp (4640 m) – Uhuru Peak (5895 m) – Mweka Camp (3080 m)

After a brief snack and some hot tea, you will be ready to start the nighttime ascent to Uhuru Peak at midnight. You will be walking across frozen lava ash, so you will need to use your headlight to light your way. After five to seven hours, you will arrive at Stella Point, which is the lip of Mount Kilimanjaro's crater. Climbing the crater ridge will lead you to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m), sometimes referred to as the "Roof of Africa." In front of you, the landscape glistens and shimmers in the light of the rising sun. Once you have taken all the necessary photos, you will return to Barafu Camp to find a beaming team. After a filling lunch and some well-earned relaxation, you will make your way to Mweka Camp, where you will spend the night camping.
