Day 1

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Murchison Falls National Park. You will have a stopover at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a captivating rhino-tracking experience. You will have a guided walking safari to find the Rhinos. You will have time to observe the rhinos and also take photos.

Have lunch at the sanctuary and head to Murchison Falls National Park. Check into your lodge and rest as you reflect on the memories of the journey.

Day 2

Morning Game Drive and Boat ride to the Bottom of the Falls

Have an early morning breakfast, head out for a game drive in the park to enjoy the views of the day as it breaks, and spot animals like elephants, giraffes, lions, antelope species, and several bird species. Return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch.

After lunch, at 2.00 pm you will have a boat ride to the base of Murchison Falls. You will view a variety of crocodiles, and hippos, as well as different bird species during the boat ride. You will get off the boat and hike to the top of the falls where you will have soothing views of the Nile as it forces its way through a narrow gorge. The force at which the water gets through the gorge is too much that it makes the ground quiver. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Chimpanzee Trekking in Budongo Forest

Chimpanzee Trekking in Budongo Forest

After Breakfast, set out with your tracking attires to have a pre-trek briefing and head to Budongo Forest, part of the Murchison Falls Conservation area for chimpanzee tracking. You will have a guided walk to search for the chimpanzees in their natural habitat. The trek can last from 2 to 4 hours, depending on the location of the chimpanzees. Once located, you will have an hour to spend with them, observing how they feed, play, groom, and associate with each other. You can also carry your binoculars to look out for some bird species in the forest.

After this thrilling experience, you will return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4

Transfer to Jinja and Visit the Source of The Nile

Transfer to Jinja and Visit the Source of The Nile

After breakfast, you will transfer to Jinja while enjoying a drive through diverse terrains, passing by several attractions and towns, eventually leading to the iconic Source of the Nile in Jinja. You will have lunch in Kampala en route and complete the journey to Jinja – The source of the Nile.

Once you reach Jinja, you will visit the Source of the Nile, where the river begins its long journey to the Mediterranean Sea. This will be via a boat ride to where the Nile starts from Lake Victoria and enjoy the scenic views of the place.

After you visit the Source of the Nile, you will check in at the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Half-day white water rafting adventure

After breakfast, set out for a pre-rafting briefing from the guides. They will fit your life jackets, helmets, and other safety equipment before heading to the starting point of the rafting adventure. The rafting adventure starts with practice sessions on calm water to get everyone comfortable with the commands and paddling. As you go down the river, you will encounter a series of rapids, each offering its unique thrill. The journey offers amazing views of the surrounding landscapes, including lush forests, rolling hills, bird species along the river banks, and diverse wildlife.

After that unforgettable adventure, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. Dinner and an overnight stay.

Drive back to Entebbe /Kampala for departure

Have a relaxed breakfast, check out, and transfer to Entebbe Airport via Kampala. In Kampala, you can visit the Crafts Village along Buganda Road to buy a Uganda souvenir or the 1000 Cups Coffee House to buy some Uganda Arabica coffee. In Entebbe, you can visit the botanical gardens or relax at one of the beaches and have lunch there and get a chance to enjoy French fries and a whole Tilapia Fish. Later, you will be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport in time for you to check in for your flight.
