Day 1

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel.
Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the hotel or explore the nearby mabamba swamp by using a local wooden motorized boat to track the elusive shoebill and experience more bird species on boat ride.

Day 2

Transfer to Murchison falls & Rhino tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

You will start your day with breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe before checking out ahead of your journey to Murchison falls national park. You will have a stop at Ziwa rhino sanctuary for a rhino tracking experience.

After a short briefing, you will move the park rangers for a experience of rhino tracking on foot at Ziwa rhino sanctuary. During this activity, you will enjoy a close encounter with the rhinos and take photos of them in their natural habitat.

After completing this activity, you will have a stop for lunch in Masindi and your guide will drive you to Murchison falls national park for a top-of-the-falls viewing experience. You will later continue to your lodge for check-in and to prepare for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Morning Guided Game drive, Boat cruise to the bottom of the falls

You will wake up early for an early morning game drive in Murchison falls national park to search for wildlife species such as lions, giraffes, elephants, leopards, elephants, buffalos, warthogs, impalas, waterbucks, impalas, and many others as you watch the beautiful sunset.

After your morning game drive, you will return to the lodge for refreshments. In the afternoon you will engage in the bottom of the falls boat cruise which takes about 2 to 3 hours.

During the boat cruise, you will see wildlife species around the water shores such as elephants, hippos, buffalos, crocodiles, and giraffes as well as different bird species. You will also see the beautiful Murchison falls from your boat and later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest

Chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest

You will wake up early for breakfast at the lodge and proceed to the park headquarters at Budongo forest for a briefing on chimpanzee trekking. You will be briefed by the rangers and also divided into groups to begin your search for the chimpanzees in the Budongo forest. During the search for the chimpanzees, you will encounter other primates like black and white colobus monkeys, baboons, and also a variety of bird and butterfly species. You will also learn about the different tree species found in the forest.

An hour will be spent with the chimpanzees when you find them in the Kibale forest and you will enjoy taking photos and recording the chimpanzees and observing their behavior. After completing the activity, you will return to the park headquarters where you return to the starting point t meet your guide.

later in the afternoon spend the day relaxing on your balcony as we prepare to explore the Nile on a raft.

On the final day of your safari, you’ll embark on a Source of the Nile boat cruise, a serene and historical experience where the mighty Nile River begins its long journey to the Mediterranean.
Exploring the Source: You’ll board a boat near the Ripon Falls area, where Lake Victoria flows into the River Nile. The boat will take you to the exact spot where the river begins. Your guide will explain the significance of the Nile’s source, both historically and geographically. As you cruise, enjoy views of abundant birdlife along the riverbanks, including kingfishers, cormorants, fish eagles, and more. You may also spot monitor lizards, otters, and even monkeys along the shore.

After the boat cruise, you’ll return to the dock and be transferred back to Entebbe. The drive typically takes around 2–3 hours, depending on traffic. You’ll arrive at Entebbe International Airport with ample time to connect home, reflecting on your safari adventure.
