Day 1

Nairobi to Olpejeta Conservancy

Nairobi to Olpejeta Conservancy

Pick up from the hotel or airport by our professional guide and after a small briefing about your safari, you will depart Nairobi for Olpejeta Conservancy. Make short stops along the way for photography and bathroom breaks. Upon arrival, check-in at the river camp and have lunch. After a short rest, you will proceed for a late afternoon game drive. The conservancy is one of the few places where you can have night game drives at an extra cost. Other optional activities include lion tracking, camel ride, bush lunch/dinner etc. Viewing of the world's remaining Northern white rhino needs to be arranged in advance. Later, drive back to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Olpejeta to Lake Nakuru

Olpejeta to Lake Nakuru

The day will begin with an early morning game drive through Ol Pejeta. And after an amazing breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Famously known as being home to the pink flamingos, the park offers one of the most thrilling game drives as it is home to the famous black and white rhinos, alongside other wildlife species like lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, gazelles, monkeys among many others. Arriving in time for lunch, check in at The Cliff for a warm meal and slight relaxation before heading out to the park for a game drive. Drive back to the camp later for dinner and overnight.

Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

Begin your day with a scrumptious breakfast as you soak in nature's morning dew from the balcony of your room enjoying the amazing view. This will be an easy morning as you are in no rush to get to the destination because the lakes are less than 2 hours away from each other. Prepare to check out of the camp and drive to Lake Naivasha. The park is part of Kenya’s region known for its picturesque lakes and landscapes. Hippos are a common sight at Lake Naivasha with both lesser and greater species of flamingos a colourful sight, Warthog, giraffe, and other antelopes can be seen in Lake Naivasha. Check in at Chui Lodge and spend the rest of the day enjoying boat rides and a guided bush walk on Crescent Island, which lies on the east of Lake Naivasha. Animals that can be seen here include wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, and impala. Walks on Crescent Island are possible, an incredible way to see smaller wildlife and a magnificent view of Lake Naivasha. Dinner and overnight at Chui Lodge.

After breakfast, check out of the lodge early in the morning and embark on a 5-hour drive to Masai Mara. Arriving in time for lunch, check in at Neptune Mara Rianta and enjoy a warm welcome with a nice buffet lunch. After slight relaxation, drive out into the open plains of Masai Mara in search of the big five including lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos and elephants. Masai Mara is known as being home to hundreds of species, diverse bird life, breath-taking landscapes and not forgetting the famous wildebeest migration. Enjoy an amazing afternoon game drive and later drive back to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

This day will be full of wildlife-viewing activities. Leave the camp with packed lunch after breakfast and spend the whole day at the park. The Masai Mara plains are full of wildebeest during migration season which begins in early July and ends in September. The zebras, impalas, topi, giraffes, and Thomson’s gazelles are regularly seen as well as the leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetah, jackal and bat-eared foxes. Black rhinos are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance if you are lucky. Hippos are abundant in the Mara River as well as very large Nile crocodiles, who lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures. Have picnic lunch in the bush and afterwards drive to the Masai villages to engage with the local community, and learn their culture, dance and general way of life. Later, meals and overnight at the Neptune Mara Rianta.

Very early in the morning after breakfast, check out of the camp with packed lunch, our guide will drive you to the Kenya-Tanzania border commonly referred to as the Isebania border and upon arrival, our Tanzania guide will be on the other side waiting to receive you. Bid your Kenyan guide goodbye and drive to Serengeti. Arriving late in the afternoon, enjoy a game drive en route as you head to the lodge. Check in at Melia Serengeti Lodge for dinner and overnight.

A full day spent out on safari is the best way to see the range of what the magnificent Serengeti National Park has to offer. The game drive will set off at around 7 am, with your fully equipped 4×4 Landcruiser crisscrossing the plains in search of game. The day is spent exploring, spotting, taking photos and exclaiming at the natural world around you. During the migration you may choose to eat a packed lunch in the vehicle so that you can react instantly to river crossings: otherwise, lunch is served under the shade of an Acacia tree, as you take a break from scanning the horizons. After a long day full of wildlife activities, head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Early morning breakfast at the lodge then hop on your jeep for a transfer to the Namanga border where you will clear with customs and enter Kenya to Amboseli National Park. Situated under the grand mass of snow-crowned Mt. Kilimanjaro, Amboseli is a striking contrast of snaking lush green marshlands and dirty grey plains. The vast herds of elephants and plains of game are a major attraction in this reserve. You will have an en-route game drive as you go to check in at the Tortilis Camp. Later have a nature walk in the conservancy then later dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Very early after breakfast depart for a morning game drive in search of the resident wildlife. Amboseli National Park is widely known for its large herds of elephants, its swampy nature and not forgetting the Mt. Kilimanjaro backdrop which gives a beautiful scenery for photography. Apart from that, there is also a large number of bird species and other animals like zebras, buffaloes, gazelles, lions and leopards just to mention a few. After a successful game drive, head back to your camp before noon, enjoy your lunch and the camp's amenities as you wait for another late afternoon game drive. Later on after sunset head back to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Early in the morning, head out for a morning game drive to try and catch a glimpse of the sunrise overlooking the peak of the tallest mountain in Africa. This is also considered to be one of the best times to go for a drive as the wild cats hunt for their prey at this time. Later head back to the camp for breakfast before checking out of the camp and head back to Nairobi. Along the way, make a quick stop for lunch before your drop-off at the airport or hotel.
