Day 1

Arusha To Tarangire National Park

Arusha To Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park features the scenic Tarangire River and the rolling hills of the Great Rift Valley floor. In the morning, you’ll enjoy game viewing amidst diverse natural vegetation, including Acacia woodlands, towering African Baobab trees, and expansive swamps. Here, you can spot zebras, giraffes, impalas, buffalos, elephants, hartebeests, warthogs, lions, and a variety of birds when they are in season.

In the afternoon, you’ll explore the riverbanks, observing wildlife as they drink and interact—who arrives first, who waits, and who skips drinking altogether. You’ll also witness predators like lionesses and cheetahs hunting the abundant ungulates, including impalas, zebras, and wildebeests drawn to the river during the dry season. Tarangire National Park is also home to three rare species: the greater kudu, the fringe-eared oryx, and the ashy starling, making it a truly special destination for wildlife enthusiasts.

Ngorongoro Crater Drive Back to Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater Drive Back to Arusha

After breakfast, descend to the stunning floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive. In the afternoon, you’ll ascend back to the crater rim on your way to Arusha. This volcanic caldera, the largest in the world, boasts breathtaking landscapes featuring grasslands, forests, and swamps. The permanent water sources on the crater floor support a resident population of over 25,000 large mammals.

Here, you’ll encounter many of the iconic animals that draw visitors to Tanzania: elephants, lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, hippos, waterbucks, baboons, and even the elusive black rhinos. This unique ecosystem is also home to the Maasai people, who have grazed their cattle in this conservation area since 1956, and it has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1978. The harmonious coexistence of wildlife and local communities makes Ngorongoro truly special. After your game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before returning to Arusha.

Day 3

Mount Kilimanjaro Day Trip Hike

Mount Kilimanjaro Day Trip Hike

Join us for a day tour that captures the thrill of Africa’s highest mountain. You’ll be picked up early from your hotel and driven to the Londrosi Gate. While many trekkers prepare for a challenging five- or eight-day ascent to the summit, our focus is more modest: we’ll aim for Shira One Camp, located at 3,500 meters above sea level.

Unlike those spending multiple nights here, we’ll use Shira One as a rest stop before descending. At this lower altitude, you’ll have excellent opportunities to observe a diverse array of birds, insects, and plant life, including the striking Colobus monkeys.

Upon reaching Shira One, enjoy a picnic lunch to refuel your energy as the altitude can cause your body heat to drop. After lunch, we’ll make our way back to the vehicle, where your driver-guide will take you back to Arusha, filled with memories of a remarkable day.
