After breakfast, we'll embark on a full day of game driving, with a packed lunch provided. The reserve is famous for its black-manned lions and its diverse resident wildlife, making it one of the few places where you can spot the Big Five in just a morning's outing. Many cheetahs are quite accustomed to vehicles, often seeking shade under them to escape the heat, with some even climbing onto the roof for a better view of potential prey. For birdwatchers, nearly 500 species have been recorded in the area, including 16 species of eagles, numerous hawks and falcons, 6 types of vultures, 8 varieties of storks, 4 species of bustards (including the Kori bustard, the heaviest flying bird), and 9 kinds of sunbirds. After breakfast, we head to Lake Nakuru National Park. Located just south of Bogoria and straddling the equator, Lake Nakuru is one of the most renowned lakes in the Rift Valley. Famous for its flamingos, this alkaline lake is recognized as one of the natural wonders of the world. Today, Lake Nakuru serves as a sanctuary for rhinos, hosting over 40 black rhinos and more than 60 white rhinos. However, the flamingos remain the primary attraction, with their numbers sometimes reaching nearly 2 million, creating a breathtakingly beautiful pink ribbon along the shoreline. Upon arrival, you'll have lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive to explore the park further.
