Day 1

On this day, you will be picked up from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala (or any other convenient location) and driven to Murchison Falls National Park, with a detour to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. At this destination, you'll have the opportunity to search for the first of the “Big Five.” Afterward, you'll continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park through the Kaniyo Pabidi forest. In the evening, you'll visit the top of the famous Murchison Falls before checking in to your lodge for your overnight stay.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, you have the option to go chimpanzee tracking at Kaniyo Pabidi. Following that, you'll embark on a game drive, searching for African elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, and various antelopes, as well as giraffes, warthogs, and a diversity of bird species and other wildlife. You'll enjoy the game drive until noon.

After a hot lunch, you'll join others for a boat trip to the bottom of the falls, where you can enjoy an array of wildlife and capture stunning photos of the falls.

You will check out from your hotel early after breakfast and drive a considerable distance to Queen Elizabeth National Park, with a lunch break in Fort Portal Town. Arriving early will allow you to enjoy an evening game drive before heading to your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, you will start your game drive to the Kasenyi Plains, searching for big game and other wildlife. If time permits, you will visit the salty Lake Kasenyi to see flamingos and learn about salt mining. You can also stop by the Kasenyi Craft Shop for those interested in buying souvenirs to take home.

After lunch, you will drive to the Mweya Peninsula to join others for a boat trip on the famous Kazinga Channel, where you are likely to see elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, and various other animals that come to the lake for water.

You may also add an optional chimpanzee tracking experience in Karinzu Central Forest today.

Today, those who have purchased gorilla permits will gather at the ranger's post for a briefing before heading out for gorilla tracking. Meanwhile, the rest will enjoy a nature walk in the forest. After the gorilla tracking experience, you will drive directly to Lake Mburo National Park, where you can participate in a night game drive to look for leopards, bush babies, and other nocturnal wildlife.
