Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

At 5:30 AM (pick-up time varies based on your hotel's location in Zanzibar), our driver will take you to the airport for your 8:00 AM flight to Arusha. Upon arrival at 9:15 AM, your driver-guide will meet you and begin the 1.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, sharing fascinating insights about the history, culture, and traditions of Arusha and the Maasai people along the way.

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its rich biodiversity, including its large elephant herds and diverse landscapes that range from seasonal swamps to savannas, with the Tarangire River meandering through. You may witness a lion stalking its prey or spot leopards resting in the treetops above.

After the game drive, you'll return to your lodge for some relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Game Drive Ngorongoro Crater and Flight back to Zanzibar

After a 6:00 AM breakfast, you'll set off for an early morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. The early start offers breathtaking views of the crater and the opportunity to witness the most active wildlife.

Ngorongoro is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for being the world’s largest uninterrupted caldera and one of Africa’s Natural Wonders. The crater is home to approximately 30,000 large mammals, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, along with a variety of bird species such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. You can expect to see a diverse range of animals in a relatively short period.

The game drive will conclude in the afternoon, after which you’ll be conveniently transferred to Arusha Airport for your 4:30 PM flight back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, your driver will take you to your hotel in Zanzibar.
