Day 1

Arusha

Arusha

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, we’ll pick you up and transport you to Karibu Heritage House. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the chance to explore Arusha city with a guided tour. This could include visits to the renowned art gallery, the Cultural Heritage Centre, the local market, and the Maasai market.

Day 2

Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Arusha to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, your journey to the Serengeti will begin at 7:30 AM. You’ll travel along a long, bumpy road that offers an exciting en-route game drive. This route will take you through the scenic crater highlands before opening up to the expansive Serengeti plains.

The drive usually lasts about six to seven hours. If the weather is clear, you’ll stop briefly at the crater viewpoint past the Ngorongoro gate, where you can take a 10-minute break to admire the stunning view of the Ngorongoro Crater from above.

You’ll enjoy a hot lunch at the Serengeti Naabi Hill gate before checking in at the park for an afternoon game drive. As the sun sets, you’ll head to your campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Note: You’ll also have the option to visit a Maasai village at no extra cost. However, this experience has become more commercialized in recent years, and many guests choose to skip it.

Day 3

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

You’ll depart from the campsite around 6:00 AM with your packed breakfast for a sunrise game drive, when wildlife is most active. After enjoying a picnic breakfast in the bush, you’ll continue your game drive before returning to camp for a hot lunch.

After lunch, you’ll load your belongings into the vehicle and set off for Ngorongoro. In the evening, you’ll arrive at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

You’ll kick off your day by boarding the safari vehicle at 6:00 AM, heading down to the crater with a packed breakfast in hand. This remarkable location is home to a diverse range of East African wildlife, including the elusive black rhino—if you’re fortunate, you may catch a glimpse of one. The crater spans about 260 square kilometers, with a diameter of approximately 20 kilometers, allowing for around five to six hours of exploration.

After your adventure, you’ll return to the campsite for a hot lunch. Then, you'll begin your journey back to Arusha, with an expected arrival time of around 5:00 to 6:00 PM. You also have the option to be dropped off at either Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport.
