Arrive at the Entebbe International Airport - once you can gone through customs and collected your bags you will be greeted by a team member and transferred to your nearby Entebbe accommodation. Depending on arrival time additional excursions can be added on this day such as activities in Kampala.
Spend the rest of the day relaxing at your Entebbe hotel.

Day 2
Air Transfer to Kasese
Air Transfer to Kasese
After breakfast you will be collected from your Entebbe Hotel and transferred back to Entebbe airport to board your charter flight to Kasese, a landing strip located approximately 1 hour from the Kyambura Game Reserve and your camp!
Arrive at your camp located along the banks of the Kazinga Channel, located inside the Kyambura Game Reserve. The camp is classic and intimate and the only camp located inside the reserve. Check in and enjoy the surrounding and amenities before embarking on an activity or excursion. Each day you will be able to partake in shared walking or game drive safaris in the morning or afternoon. As well as shared boat excursions, exploring the channel and its abundance of wildlife in the water and along the banks.

Day 3
Kyambura Game Reserve

Enjoy a FULL day in Kyambura - a morning shared driven safari, followed by a boat excursion. Or take a relaxing walking guided safari in the morning, the options are endless!
The reserve is well known for its population of hippos, elephants, many species of monkeys and birds!

Day 4
Chimpanzee Trekking
Chimpanzee Trekking
On this day you will depart your camp and partake in Chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge. Please note: the trek is considered moderate due to the descent into the gorge and therefore guests should be physically fit and sure footed. The trek may last approximately 1-3 hours, although chimp sightings is not guaranteed there is an 80% chance of sightings. The Kyambura Gorge is home to the only habituated chimpanzees in Queen Elizabeth Park, these chimps are used to human activity and often interact with people and provide great photographic opportunities. After the trek spend the afternoon relaxing at the camp before a shared night game drive.

Day 5
Air Transfer to Bwindi
Air Transfer to Bwindi
After a final morning in Kyambura Game Reserve transfer to the Kasese landing strip to board your charter flight to Kisoro, the closest landing strip to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Arriving at the landing strip you will be greeted by a driver and transferred to your lodge located on the edge of the Bwindi Forest.
From the breathtaking view of the Virunga volcanoes to the warm and attentive service, Clouds is the perfect and sublime base for your mountain gorilla adventures. After check in relax and enjoy the lodge amenities and surroundings.

Day 6
Bwindi Gorilla Trekking
Bwindi Gorilla Trekking
After a hearty breakfast you will be briefed about your Gorilla trek - before setting off by foot in search of the The Nkuringo gorilla family home range is around a 1.5 hours hike from the lodge (the starting point is directly outside of the lodge) depending on the movement of the group. There are currently an additional 5 other habituated gorilla families (Rushaga group) that are also easily accessible from Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge (45 min drive to the starting point). The duration of the trek varies depending on the location of the Gorilla's - once located you will spend approximately 1 hour with the family.
After a foray into the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in search of the Mountain Gorilla, immerse yourself in community activities, indulge in a peaceful massage or simply relax and enjoy the serene atmosphere: the lodge’s fireplaces, soaring ceilings, exposed wooden beams, and big picture windows invite you to come in, take your coat off and stay a while.

Return Transit to Entebbe

After a final morning at your Mountain Lodge you will transfer back to the Kisoro landing strip where you will board your flight to the Entebbe Airport. Depending on onward travel plans you can choose to explore Entebbe or Kampala or make arranges for additional nights if needed.
