Tarangire National Park is renowned for its massive elephant herds and distinctive baobab trees, and offers a rich diversity of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and over 500 bird species.
Morning: Start your adventure with an early pick-up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, embark on a morning game drive, where you’ll witness the beauty of the park and its rich wildlife, from elephants lumbering through the bush to the graceful giraffes nibbling on acacia trees.
Lunch: Enjoy a packed lunch at one of the scenic picnic spots inside the park.
Afternoon:Continue your afternoon game drive, exploring different sections of the park, including the riverine areas where wildlife gathers. Look out for predators like lions and leopards, as well as the many species of antelope roaming the plains.
Evening:After a thrilling day in Tarangire, drive to Mto wa Mbu, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight in your budget lodge.

Ngorongoro Crater hosts an extraordinary density of wildlife, making it one of the best places to see Africa’s "Big Five" – lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos. The lush landscape, dotted with lakes, forests, and savannah, supports a rich ecosystem, making it a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Morning: After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. As you descend into the crater, you’ll be greeted by sweeping views and the chance to see an incredible array of animals, from large prides of lions to grazing buffalo and rhinos. The crater floor is also home to a variety of other species, including zebras, hippos, flamingos, and hyenas.
Lunch: A picnic lunch will be enjoyed on the crater floor.
Afternoon: After your half-day game drive, ascend the crater and begin your journey back to Arusha. Enjoy the scenic drive through the highlands. Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon or early evening for drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
