Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Fly to Arusha Airport at around 9:00am and meet our representative then drive to Tarangire National Park for a game drive. Upon your arrival at the main gate official document for the safari will be handed out and you will start a half day game drive in the park. The National Park is one of the parks with high wildlife concentration in Tanzania. It is believed to have the largest elephant concentration in the world surrounded with large trunks of Baobab tree with more than 100 feet circumference. Tarangire park also has few Tree-climbing lions, leopards and pythons who frequently hide in the branches of sausage trees and other tree species in the park to get better view of their preys. You will also visit Tarangire River which flows through the park being the only water source during dry season for thousands of migrating animals such as zebras, elands, wildebeest, impalas, giraffes, gazelles, ostriches, flamingoes and elephants. Also it has more breeding species of birds worldwide.

After an early breakfast, collect your packed lunch boxes and drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive down the crater floor. Ngorongoro crater is a deep volcanic crater with about 200kms across, 600 m deep and 300sq kms in area, this caldera is a breathtaking natural wonder and it is listed as one of the 8th Wonder of the World by UNESCO and listed as a protected area in world heritage site. Deep within the crater, enclosed by towering walls, you have a good chance of spotting, The Big 5‟: i.e Lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. Within the Protected are they villages are of Maasai who are allowed to coexisted with animals under sanction rules by the Government.

After an early breakfast, meet your safari guide at 7:30 AM to set off for Serengeti National Park. The journey takes you through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, providing opportunities for wildlife viewing en route.
Arrive in Serengeti, where a half-day game drive introduces you to the legendary wildlife that thrives in this vast savanna. Witness lions, elephants, and possibly even the majestic great wildebeest migration.
