2 travelers on Start dateTransfer from Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
One of our favorite places to look for wildlife in Kenya is the Masai Mara National Reserve. That's because the wildlife here is incredible, with big cats (lions, leopards, and cheetahs) and elephants among the highlights. There's a very good chance you'll also see giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, hyenas, and, of course, impalas. Bring your binoculars, because more than 500 species of birds have been recorded in the reserve. It's a place of beautiful savannah landscapes as well, with lots of acacia trees.

Welcome to the Serengeti's most popular wildlife area. It's here in the heart of the park, in the Central Serengeti, that you find the densest concentrations of wildlife. In the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Serengeti, you’ll see big cats, very big elephants, giraffes, wildebeest herds, and classic African scenery that seems to go on forever.

Tarangire National Park
You’ll be impressed with Tarangire National Park. Most visitors love the distinct shapes of the baobab trees silhouetted against the sky making this place feel like a fairy-tale African landscape. Remember the elephants that roam in family bands everywhere throughout the park? If you’re lucky, you’ll also encounter the big cats —lions especially, but also cheetahs and leopards —that are always a possibility here. There’s a fair degree of certainty that you will tick wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffalos, and zebras off your wildlife-viewing list.
