Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our guide will meet you and briefly overview your safari. Then, you will be driven to Tarangire National Park, approximately a 1.5-hour drive from Arusha.
Your day will be filled with extensive wildlife viewing in the park, known for having more African elephants per square kilometer than any other national park in Tanzania and is often referred to as the home of elephants in the country. During this safari, you will see various threatened and endangered species, ebony trees, pythons, cheetahs, African wild dogs, lesser and greater kudu, Beisa oryx and gerenuks. Additionally, you can admire around 550 species of birds, a more significant number than in the Serengeti. You will leave with a blend of adventurous memories and a deep appreciation for nature.
