Today, you'll embark on a journey to a stunning haven filled with primates and vibrant aquatic birds. The stunning Lake Manyara National Park showcases incredible vistas and a diverse range of ecosystems, including acacia woodlands and lush underground water forests. The park may be compact, yet it remarkably accommodates a diverse array of animal species and boasts an impressive variety of bird life. This area boasts a remarkable abundance of baboons, giraffes, elephants, impalas, and the lions here are famous for their unique tree-climbing abilities. Following an exciting game viewing experience at Lake Manyara National Park, you'll be heading to your accommodation for the night.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater

We leave for the Ngorongoro Crater in the early morning, after breakfast. When you first glimpse the crater, it appears to be a forgotten planet. You will be able to see the endangered black rhino and enormous prides of lion. The crater formed when a massive volcano erupted and collapsed two to three million years ago. It is well-known for both its geological wonders and as a natural reserve with some of Africa's densest large mammal populations.

The drive into the crater is an adventure in itself. When you reach the crater floor, you'll be surrounded by wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, and over 500 different bird species. The crater offers the best chance of spotting the endangered black rhino, which can occasionally be sighted in the open grass. After a packed lunch, head to the Serengeti Highview Hotel for supper and sleep.

Local Experiences

You can take hikes through the village, through the woodland, through the floodplain, and along the border of the Great Rift Valley, which offers spectacular views of Lake Manyara, despite the fact that they are not permitted to go into the park. With the guidance of a skilled guide, you will learn about the area flora, fauna, birds, and small mammals. During the stroll, you will be able to see local farms, residences, and the Maasai market. After the trip, you can eat lunch in the village or at the Swahili Canteen Restaurant in Mto Wa Mbu. Following lunch, you will be able to go canoeing and bicycling around Lake Manyara, which is a fantastic experience that will allow you to see various wildlife from your bicycle.

Day 5

Tarangire National Park - Zanzibar

After breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Tarangire National Park for a game drive. They will also bring lunch boxes with them. Following the wildlife drive.

Tarangire National Park is well-known for its large elephant herds. The Tarangire River, which flows through the parklands, is one of the various sceneries you will see. Other landscapes include seasonal marshes, savannahs, and the Tarangire River. During the dry season, the Tarangire River provides the only source of water for the local animals. It is possible that you will see a lion hunting its prey and leopards lazing in the branches above you. After game drive you will be driven to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight to Zanzibar where you will finish the rest of your stay.

Although it is not required, we are able to arrange a few tours in Zanzibar for an additional fee, and it is necessary to make reservations in advance.

Following breakfast, you will be collected from the hotel and taken to Zanzibar Airport. Based on your flight schedule, we can arrange a guided tour of Stone Town for you. This tour offers the chance to explore numerous historical sites, including the Central Market of Zanzibar, where fresh fish arrives from various parts of the island. You'll also visit the former Slave Market, the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, the Palace Museum, and enjoy delightful strolls through the narrow lanes of Stone Town, perfect for shopping.
