Day 1

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your safari guide will drive you to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is best known for its elephant families, savannah, iconic baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and the life-giving Tarangire River. Animals gather at the river to drink and cool off from the hot African sun. You will see giraffes, bushbuck, and hartebeest. The Park is also home to buffalo, zebra, and wildebeest. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators such as lions and leopards. From the open roof of the vehicle, you will be able to take in the landscape and watch the variety of wildlife. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, which includes coffee and soft drinks. After a full day in the park, you will be driven to marera valley lodge where you will check in, enjoy dinner and enjoy your overnight stay.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park

Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you’ll drive up to the crater highlands, stopping at the rim for breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater and the expansive Serengeti, which means “endless plain.” The Serengeti is home to over 2 million wildebeest and a rich diversity of wildlife.

From January to April, you can witness the birthing season of wildebeests, plains zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles, attracting large predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas drawn by the abundance of prey migrating throughout the park. The area is also inhabited by smaller animals like rock hyraxes, bat-eared foxes, mongooses, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons, and African hares. Additionally, over 500 species of birds can be found here.

After this exhilarating game drive, you’ll return to camp for dinner and enjoy your overnight stay.

Day 3

After an early breakfast, you’ll embark on a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park, one of the most iconic wildlife destinations in the world. The park is famous for its vast savannahs, diverse ecosystems, and the incredible wildlife that inhabits them.
As you drive through the park, you’ll have the opportunity to spot an array of animals, including the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinoceros. You may also encounter herds of wildebeest and zebras, particularly during migration season, as well as cheetahs, hyenas, and many other species.
Your guide will navigate to key wildlife viewing areas, sharing insights about the animals and their behaviors. Keep your camera ready for thrilling sightings and breathtaking landscapes
The game drive continues into the afternoon, where you’ll explore different habitats, from open plains to wooded areas, maximizing your chances of seeing a wide variety of wildlife.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, you’ll begin your scenic drive from Serengeti National Park to the Ngorongoro Crater. The journey takes you through stunning landscapes, offering opportunities to spot wildlife along the way.
Upon arrival at the Ngorongoro Crater, you’ll descend into the caldera for an exciting game drive. Known for its rich biodiversity, the crater is home to a variety of animals, including the Big Five, as well as flamingos, hippos, and a host of other wildlife. Your guide will help you spot and identify the diverse species as you explore this unique ecosystem.
After an enriching afternoon in the crater, you’ll start your drive back to Arusha.
Once you arrive in Arusha, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, concluding your unforgettable safari adventure.
